Bright Biomethane has built a biogas recovery system in a village called Vry in eastern France. The system facilitates the production of Renewable Natural Gas from biogas, which is a share production of various waste residues.
This system produces 140 SCFM of RNG (226 Nm³/hr biomethane) from 249 SCFM of biogas (400 Nm³/hr raw biogas). The RNG product is directly injected into the national gasgrid for French households and is used for cooking and heating. Alternatively, the gas produced can also be used as CNG (vehicle fuel).
And in addition to the production of RNG, the system can also be extended with a brilliant CO₂ liquefaction system to recover and liquefy the CO₂.
