BRIGHT BIOMETHANE PLANT IN TOURS, FRANCE ONE YEAR SUCCESSFULLY OPERATIONAL

Biogas to biomethane plant in Tours, France has been successfully connected to the national gas grid now for one year and injected already 774,000 Nm3 of biomethane. This is equivalent to the consumption of natural gas by more than 500 households.

On top of that, the system, developed and supplied by Bright Biomethane, has achieved a very high availability of up to 97%.  In this project the upgrading installation is connected to the existing digesters and also has a very high efficiency regarding the separation of methane and carbon dioxide. The unit is therefore able to produce methane with a concentration over 97%, equal to the energy-rich gas type H. The complete upgrading unit including compressor, control, membranes, biogas analysis and a vacuum pump is all integrated in a single 40 ft. compact and modular container.
